On April 23, 2022 Brewed in Canada's 2nd annual fishing derby took place on the Okanagan Lake. We had 66 boats register,
Mike was definitely kept busy! Between check in Friday, selling 50/50 tickets and squares (with the help of his assistant, Teaghan) &
Saturday morning starting off with first fish on at 6:15 am. Throughout the day the leader board was updated, and Mike sent out hourly updates. The day ended with the 1st place prize winner taking home $3150 after submitting his photos of his catch. Measuring in at 28 1/8". Congratulations to Glenn Lutes and his crew. On May 14, 2022 Brewed in Canada's 2nd annual fishing derby on the Shuswap Lake resulted in 86 registering.
First fish submission was at 7:02 AM. The winner took the leaderboard at 11:50 AM, and although there were multiple submissions throughout the day, John Misera stayed in 1st place until the end. John was the winner of $3650.
We ended the day with dinner, 50/50 and silent auction at Finz Bar & Grill in Blind Bay. We had a great turnout and the final total for monies raised this year is $28,000. THANK YOU!
